“Cloth Diapering Cheap” Series

Cloth Diapering 101

This is an opportunity to learn about the benefits of cloth diapering to the environment, your child, and your budget, as well as see and touch the various diapering options. Our instructors break down all the mystery surrounding cloth diapers. This class is held twice each month on the 3rd Thursday at 7 pm and the 2nd Monday at 10 am. Registration is required. FREE!

Cloth Diapering 202

Advanced cloth diapering information on trouble shooting, striping diapers, diapering while traveling, folding flat folds and pre-fold diapers, and so much more. For those already using or planning to use cloth diapers. Fabulous handouts! $5.

Cloth Diapering Wool Class

Using wool as a part of your cloth diapering system, caring for your wool diaper covers, and so much more. Wool care demonstration and an opportunity to see and touch the various wool options. Fabulous handouts too! $5

Cloth Diapering Sewing Classes

Interested in learning to sew your own cloth diapers? These classes run occasionally to teach a wide variety of cloth diaper patterns.

Bum Sweater and Longies Cloth Diaper Cover Class

Make your own cloth diaper covers or longies out of recycled sweaters. Explore this inexpensive diapering option using local materials, you won’t need anything fancy! Sew by machine or by hand, all you need is a sweater and some thread to make up to 3 diaper covers. This class will give you the information and hands-on experience to complete a cloth diaper cover. Once you are registered you will be sent the materials list, contact us if you’d like to see it ahead of time. This class is just $7!

Pocket Fitted Diaper

Rita’s Rump Pocket: is a one-size pocket fitted diaper made from a free pattern. Each participants needs to bring a sewing machine. Previous sewing experience is recommended. Once you are registered you will be sent the materials list, contact us if you’d like to see it ahead of time. $7 plus materials.

PUL Cover—Very Baby Snug Wrap

Each participants needs to bring a sewing machine. Previous sewing experience is recommended. Once you are registered you will be sent the materials list, contact us if you’d like to see it ahead of time. $7 plus materials.

All-in-One Very Baby Diaper

This is a substantially more complex, therefore expensive, class than the others. Each participants needs to bring a sewing machine. Previous sewing experience is a MUST. Once you are registered you will be sent the materials list, contact us if you’d like to see it ahead of time. $21 plus materials.
