The following groups are on hiatus for the time being:

Parents of Multiples Support & Play Group

Please consider joining other parents of multiples to share coping skills and practical advice.  We will discuss parenting choices of all types including a wide variety of choices such as breastfeeding, co-sleeping, organic feeding, and baby wearing.  .  If this overlaps nap or lunch times, please note that you do not have to stay for the whole time, or you can come late.  If your kiddos are in school or child care, you can still attend to get advice or share ideas of things that work for you.  Siblings are welcome to attend.  Expectant parents are encouraged to attend too!

Alternative Diet Support Group
This group is focused on providing support and information about food allergies and/or intolerance with a specific focus on breastfeeding and feeding young children while eliminating certain foods from you diet.  Bring your favorite recipe, product, food substitution ingredients, or money saving tips to share. Children of all ages welcome!  All who are interested in this topic are welcome to join regardless of their specific dietary concerns.  This group is moving to a quarterly, special topic, meeting format.  Meeting times and topics will be announced.

BabyWearers of Cedar Rapids
Are you a new or expecting parent?  Do you want to be able to take care of your infant and get things done with both hands?  Have you found that it's hard to go some places with a stroller?  Do you have a high-needs infant?  Has your baby outgrown that not-so-comfortable carrier?  Are you the parent of a premature infant?  If you knew that something you could do would reduce the chances of your baby crying by 50-60% with many more benefits, would you do it?  Do you already wear your baby, and want to meet other parents who do the same?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you should come to a meeting of the BabyWearers of Cedar Rapids to learn about babywearing and its benefits.  A large library of slings and carriers will be available to try out with instruction and support from experienced babywearers.  Moms, dads, big kids, little kids, and of course, babies are very welcome.  Come learn how to nurture your baby hands-free!

BabyWearers of CR is on Hiatus while the schedule is being adjusted.

Please register for all other classes and activities by calling our office 319-364-1144, emailing us at office@BirthBabyAndBeyond.org or on our Registration page.
